Yep, you read that right. Welcome to Day 1 of my ambitious 90-day challenge, where I’m attempting to make $100,000 in sales with my business in 90 days or less specifically by using ChatGPT to do as much of the work as possible!

Throughout this challenge, I will be recording and sharing my experience across my various social media platforms. Some information will be in long form content like this, other information will be via short form such as TikToks, Reels, or Twitter tweets and threads.

I. Welcome to the $100k in 90 Days Using ChatGPT Challenge

Today marks the beginning of this exciting challenge, and in this article, I’m going to dive into how I specifically plan to achieve this, as well as discussing the importance of getting organized, gathering resources, and planning ahead.

By setting myself up for success with tools such as ChatGPT, templates, time-blocking, content calendars, and SMART goals, I plan to lay the foundation for a fruitful and transformative journey.

Join me as I outline and follow the crucial steps I’m taking today to ensure that I reach my goal and share valuable insights with you!

II. Getting Organized with a SMART Goal

Embarking on this ambitious 90-day journey demands a well-organized approach, which is why I’m dedicating Day 1 to getting everything in order.

Beliefs are not facts

The first step is outlining my plan and defining my business goal using the SMART criteria: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (learn more about SMART goals in this article). By setting clear and realistic expectations, I will have a tangible target to work towards.

My SMART goal has essentially already been determined:

  • Earn $100,000 in the next 90 days while using ChatGPT to do as much of the work as possible.

Since today, April 11, 2023 marks Day 1, that means in order to successfully complete this challenge, I must make at least $100,000 worth of sales by July 10, 2023 (90 days from now).

The rules I’ve set for myself are simple:

  1. Use ChatGPT to do as much of the work as possible.
  2. Record and share the entire process & experience as I do it.

Challenge accepted.

Let’s begin!

III. Using ChatGPT to Develop a Base for My Business Goal

So, what’s the first step to making $100k in 90 days using ChatGPT?

If you guessed: “Ask ChatGPT how to make $100k in 90 days.”

Good guess. You were right!

Too easy.

But, one of the most important things to know when using ChatGPT (as mentioned in this previous article) is that the quality of output is directly proportional to the quality of input.

So if you want better answers, you have to give better instructions.

With that in mind, before I asked it the simple “how to” question,

I gave it background information on me and my business to include:

  • What services I offer
  • The demographics of my typical clients
  • The expected results and benefits of my services

I essentially took my mission statement and USP to construct my input prompt.

My input was as follows: 

Using ChatGPT to develop an action plan for me to earn $100,000 in 90 days or less.

As expected, the first output results were still pretty generic (even with my relatively detailed instructions):

To achieve your goal of making $100,000 in the next 90 days through Apex Haus, you should follow a strategic and comprehensive action plan. Here is an optimal step-by-step action plan:

Define your target market:

  1. Identify the specific niche of creators, coaches, and CEOs that you want to serve. Understand their needs, pain points, and desires. Create detailed buyer personas to guide your marketing and product development efforts.

  1. Create a high-ticket, personalized digital product or service package that addresses your target market’s needs. Ensure it stands out from the competition and provides a clear return on investment. This could include services like website and sales funnel design, online course creation, coaching, or digital marketing.

Set clear pricing and revenue targets:

  1. Determine the pricing structure for your offer and calculate how many clients you need to serve within 90 days to achieve your $100,000 goal. Break down your goal into monthly and weekly targets to make it more manageable.

Establish your brand:

  1. Develop a strong brand identity that reflects your unique value proposition and appeals to your target market. Create a compelling brand story and ensure your messaging is consistent across all platforms.

Build an online presence:

  1. Develop a professional website that showcases your services, expertise, and client testimonials. Optimize it for search engines and make it easy for potential clients to book a consultation or inquire about your services.

Create a content marketing strategy:

  1. Produce valuable and engaging content that addresses your target audience’s needs and pain points. Use blog posts, podcasts, videos, and social media to showcase your expertise and build trust with your audience. Use SEO best practices to increase your organic reach.

Implement a sales funnel:

  1. Design a sales funnel that captures leads, nurtures them through email marketing, and converts them into paying clients. This could include a combination of free content (lead magnets), webinars, automated email sequences, and sales calls.

Leverage social media and networking:

  1. Build relationships with influencers, groups, and communities in your niche. Share your content, engage with your target audience, and provide value to establish yourself as an expert in the field.

Utilize paid advertising:

  1. Invest in targeted paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or Instagram to drive traffic to your website or sales funnel. Optimize your campaigns for conversions and track your return on investment.

Track your progress and optimize:

  1. Monitor your key performance indicators (KPIs), such as website traffic, leads generated, conversion rates, and revenue. Analyze your data to identify areas for improvement and optimize your marketing efforts accordingly.

Seek referrals and testimonials:

  1. Encourage satisfied clients to refer you to their network and provide testimonials for your website and marketing materials. Offer incentives for referrals to motivate your clients to spread the word.

All things I pretty much know already, but not a bad start.

This gets me organized and set up on a path with a basic plan.

The other important thing to know when using ChatGPT: It’s like baking a cake.

It works way better when done in layers.

Think of it like this:

A cake doesn’t come out with all the decorations and frosting already on it, you have to bake the base of the cake first. Only after you have the base of the cake can build on top of it and make it pretty, one layer at a time.

The same is true when using ChatGPT.

It works much better when you use the outputs you receive from ChatGPT to influence, dictate, and maneuver your follow-up inputs, allowing it to build on top of itself.

IV. Using ChatGPT to Build Me a Deliverables Timeline and Add More Layers

Now that I have a generic plan outlined, it’s time to use ChatGPT to start diving in a bit deeper (adding on the next layer of the cake).

Analyzing the first output it gave me, I realized I wanted more specifics, to include things like:

  • Numbers
  • Dates
  • Timelines
  • Deliverables

I already have a general idea (based on my existing business experience & client history) of what package/price point I want to sell, so with this information in mind I crafted my next follow-up input prompt as follows:

Using ChatGPT to give me an actionable roadmap to reach my ambitious business goal.

Now we’re starting to get places!

ChatGPT has now built me a 12-week roadmap to sell six products worth $15,000 each in 90 days (including some generic deliverable instructions for each week).

To reach your goal of selling six $15,000 packages within 90 days, I’ve created a detailed roadmap with specific, actionable steps and deadlines:

Week 1-2: Define your target market and develop a high-value offer

  • Research your niche, understand their needs, and create buyer personas.
  • Develop your $15,000 package that addresses the target market’s needs and provides a clear ROI.
  • Set the goal of selling six packages within 90 days.

Week 3-4: Establish your brand and build an online presence

  • Create a unique brand identity and messaging that appeals to your target market.
  • Develop a professional website showcasing your services, expertise, and client testimonials.
  • Optimize your website for search engines.

Week 5: Create a content marketing strategy and sales funnel

  • Develop a content plan that includes blog posts, podcasts, videos, and social media posts.
  • Design a sales funnel that captures leads, nurtures them, and converts them into paying clients.

Week 6-7: Leverage social media and networking

  • Identify relevant influencers, groups, and communities in your niche.
  • Engage with your target audience, share your content, and provide value to establish your expertise.
  • Start building relationships with potential clients and partners.

Week 8: Utilize paid advertising

  • Set up targeted paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or Instagram.
  • Monitor and optimize your campaigns for conversions.

Week 9-10: Implement content marketing and sales funnel

  • Begin producing and sharing content according to your content marketing plan.
  • Launch your sales funnel and drive traffic to it using both organic and paid channels.

Week 11: Track progress and optimize

  • Monitor your KPIs, such as leads generated, conversion rates, and revenue.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize your marketing efforts.

Week 12: Seek referrals and testimonials

  • Request testimonials from satisfied clients to feature on your website and marketing materials.
  • Offer incentives for referrals and encourage clients to spread the word.

It also dives deeper and reminds me to also be focused on finding and selling my $15,000 package to six clients:

Throughout the entire 90-day period, you should be focused on finding and selling your $15,000 packages to six clients. Here’s how:

  1. Identify potential clients through networking events, social media groups, and forums related to your niche. Attend industry conferences, workshops, and seminars to meet potential clients in person.
  1. Offer free webinars or workshops that provide value to your target audience and showcase your expertise. This helps build trust and credibility with potential clients.
  1. Utilize LinkedIn to search for and connect with decision-makers in your target market. Share valuable content and engage with them to build rapport and trust.
  1. Leverage influencer partnerships and collaborations to reach a wider audience. Offer influencers a commission for every client they refer who purchases your package.
  1. Offer a free consultation or strategy session for potential clients. Use this opportunity to understand their needs, showcase your expertise, and demonstrate the value of your $15,000 package.
  1. Develop a follow-up strategy for leads that didn’t convert immediately. Keep nurturing these relationships by providing valuable content and staying top of mind.
  1. Throughout the 90-day period, continuously refine your marketing and sales strategies based on the data and feedback you receive. This will help you effectively target and sell your packages to the right clients.

Awesome! I’ve now got a basic timeline and some deliverables in mind.

Time to add on the next layers.

ChatGPT gave me 2 deliverables to focus on for weeks 1-2:

  • Research my niche, understand their needs, and create buyer personas.

So, first thing I’ve done is use Deliverable #1 of that output to craft my next input:

ChatGPT has outlined everything I need to know about this potential client, even to include her digital behavior and ideal marketing channels I can focus on based on where she spends the most time consuming content:

Buyer Persona: High Achiever Hannah


  • Age: 42
  • Occupation: CEO/Founder of a high-growth tech startup
  • Location: San Francisco, California
  • Education: MBA from a top-tier business school


  • Gender: Female
  • Relationship Status: Married with two children
  • Income: $250,000+ per year

Goals and Challenges:

  1. Goals:
    • Scale her business efficiently and effectively
    • Position herself as a thought leader in her industry
    • Increase her company’s revenue and profitability
  1. Challenges:
    • Limited time and resources to focus on marketing and sales
    • Struggling to create a cohesive online presence that reflects her brand and expertise
    • Lacks the in-house expertise to develop high-quality digital products and sales funnels

Values and Fears:

  1. Values:
    • Personal and professional growth
    • Providing value to her customers and employees
    • Building long-term relationships with partners and vendors
  1. Fears:
    • Investing in a solution that doesn’t provide the expected ROI
    • Falling behind competitors due to a weak online presence
    • Not being able to maintain a healthy work-life balance

Digital Behavior:

  • Spends 2-3 hours daily on LinkedIn, connecting with other professionals and engaging with industry-specific content

Ideal Marketing Channels:

Now that I know who my ideal client is, it’s time to complete Deliverable #2:

  • Develop my $15k package that addresses needs and provides a clear ROI.

Since I know I’m now designing for High Achiever Hannah, I craft my input to be as simple as combining Hannah’s needs with my services & skills at my target value:

Now, for transparency sake, please keep one thing in mind:

I already have an existing package for my business at this price point.

So I already have a good idea of what’s going to be suggested.

I’d also just like to point out that since I already have an existing product, it is going to remove a significant amount of work I would have otherwise had to do over the next few weeks and months if I didn’t already have something set up and ready to go.

So while I may be starting at a slight advantage because of the head-start that comes from my already existing business infrastructure, that doesn’t mean you can’t still follow this exact same process and pursue similar goals!

With that being said, I’m still doing this step for several reasons:

  1. I want to compare my existing package to what ChatGPT suggests to see if there’s anything I should change, add, or perhaps didn’t think about.
  1. I’m curious to see how ChatGPT frames what is considered “good ROI” for a $15,000 product or service (to see if my existing one also meets those standards).
  1.  If I didn’t have an existing package already, it would give me a good idea of where to start and what to focus on developing.

As for the results of my query:

Once again, ChatGPT doesn’t disappoint.

  1. A detailed customer avatar designed specifically around how my services can help them improve their life and reach their goals.
  1. All the information and requirements I need to develop a full service package valued at my target price point of $15k.

I’ve completed all my deliverables for both weeks 1-2, and it’s not even day 2…

That’s absolutely insane, while simultaneously awesome AF!

VI. Using ChatGPT to Complete the Next Goals and Deliverables

Following my outlined plan and deliverables timeline from ChatGPT, the next things I need to focus on are for weeks 2-3, which are to:

  • Create a unique brand identity and messaging that appeals to my target market (a.k.a. High Achiever Hannah).
  • Develop a professional website showcasing my services, expertise, and client testimonials.
  • Optimize my website for search engines.

Now, as I mentioned above, a good chunk of this is already done simply because of the fact I already have an established business.

Nevertheless, I’m going to go through the entire process as if I don’t, so that I can make sure there isn’t anything I’ve missed while also looking for opportunities to optimize and improve.
